Are in-ear (canal) headphones bad for your health?

And I’m not referring to volumes that are too loud, I’m referring to the fact that the ear is sealed closed for hours at a time, and cannot “breathe” properly.

    I don’t think so, unless you have inner-ear or sinus problems that are exacerbated by wearing earphones. If they cause pain or a feeling of stuffiness in your ears, you should use over-ear headphones, or in-ear types that don’t completely seal.
